Located near the Caribe Hilton, one of the first Caribbean Resorts, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Mercado de Paseo Caribe boasts 14 different local food and beverage tenant concepts and seating for over 300. Created as part of the Paseo Caribe development by the developer Caribbean Property Group LLC (CPG), El Mercado was conceived to bring the excitement and flare of Puerto Rican cuisine and culture to the new development. Anchoring the lofty 50’ tall central space is the main bar concept, featuring a multistory back bar which serves as the central organizing hub for the overall floor plan from which the other vendor spaces and seating areas radiate around. The soaring double high space is rung by locally created murals overseen by New York muralist Tom Christopher.
